Hunter Green Chair and Ottoman: What Listings Say

Very few listings use the term hunter green. Of the six listings we checked on 2026-10-08, only one ottoman, the Glitzhome, is named Hunter Green, and it is an ottoman only, with no chair. The chairs in the results are labelled dark green, green, or olive green, so this guide treats dark green chairs with ottomans as the closest match. The MBOOYOME chair (ASIN B0CQR3TKPM) is listed in dark green, with a 400 lb maximum and a folding footstool. If you want a green chair set with a listed ottoman rating, the Youtanic chair (ASIN B0D78VYNMN) has a 330 lb maximum. We have not tested any of these products.

What this keyword is really asking

The shopper wants a green that reads as deep and traditional rather than bright, plus a footstool in the same color. Color is the first filter, but the listings describe color in different words, so check photos before buying. The second filter is whether the ottoman is included and rated, and the third is whether the chair suits how the room is used.

Comparison table (listed numbers only)

Note on the Youtanic listing: the size field gives 26.8 by 31.5 by 37.4 inches, but the spec table gives the seat depth as 26.8 inches and the seat width as 31.5 inches, which is consistent. The listing’s bullets describe a buckle design, so check the photos on the product page.

The picks, with real pros and cons

MBOOYOME lazy chair with ottoman (B0CQR3TKPM). Pros: listed in dark green; a 400 lb maximum; a 16.9 inch seat height, which is the lowest of the chairs in this group; a folding footstool; a side pocket; a light 22 lb weight for a chair of this size. Cons: the spec table lists the chair as 37.4 inches deep and 28.5 inches wide, while the size field gives 31.5 by 25.2 by 37.4 inches, so the footprint is unclear; the cover is cotton and the listing does not say whether it comes off for washing; the back is solid rather than cushioned.

Youtanic lazy chair with folding ottoman (B0D78VYNMN). Pros: a 330 lb maximum; a 31.5 inch seat length and 26.8 inch seat depth; a foldable mobile ottoman that the listing says matches the chair; a velvet cover described as soft and skin-friendly; a metal frame with a crossbar. Cons: the listing describes the color as “Green” with no shade named; the spec table lists the arm style as pillow-top and the bullets describe a buckle detail, so the design is not fully clear; the seat height is 18.9 inches, so the chair sits high for some sitters.

Glitzhome footstool (B0D5MFH6J7). Pros: the only listing that uses the exact name “Hunter Green”; a rubberwood frame; PU leather top with foam; a 220 lb rating; a walnut-colored frame. Cons: it is an ottoman only, so there is no chair; the seat is 15.25 inches high, which works as a footrest but not as a seat for many people; assembly is required.

Worked example: matching a footstool to the chair

• Seat heights. MBOOYOME lists a 16.9 in seat and Youtanic 18.9 in. The Glitzhome ottoman is 15.25 in high, so it sits 1.65 in below the MBOOYOME seat (16.9 minus 15.25) and 3.65 in below the Youtanic seat (18.9 minus 15.25).
• Weight. An adult of 250 lb is 150 lb under MBOOYOME’s 400 lb, 80 lb under Youtanic’s 330 lb and 50 lb under LINSY’s 300 lb. Glitzhome’s ottoman is rated at 220 lb.
• Moving. MBOOYOME weighs 22 lb and Youtanic 21.7 lb, against 38.5 lb for LINSY, a 16.5 lb difference (38.5 minus 22).
• Shade. Only Glitzhome says hunter green. MBOOYOME is dark green, Youtanic green and LINSY olive green.

Mistakes to avoid

• Searching by shade name. No chair is called hunter green, so compare the photos in daylight and in your room lighting.
• Ordering the ottoman for the chair. Glitzhome is an ottoman only. If you want a matching set, check that the footstool ships with the chair.
• Mixing up the Welnow. Its colour is soft gray, so it does not match a green search.
• Trusting MBOOYOME’s footprint. Its spec says 37.4 in deep and 28.5 in wide, while the size field gives 31.5 x 25.2 x 37.4 in, so measure before you order.

Choosing between the three green options

• MBOOYOME is the closest to a deep green, with a 400 lb rating, a 16.9 in seat and a folding footstool, but its footprint is unclear.
• Youtanic has the clearest dimensions (31.5 x 26.8 x 37.4 in) and a velvet cover, at 330 lb and an 18.9 in seat.
• Glitzhome is the only hunter green item, a 220 lb ottoman with a rubberwood frame and a PU leather top. It suits a green chair you already own, and its 15.25 in height is a footrest, not a seat.
• Skip the Comeon if you want a chair and a separate footstool, since it is a boneless floor sofa of 31.5 x 39.3 x 27.5 in with a 260 lb rating.

Who should skip these

Skip the Comeon floor sofa if you want a chair with a footstool, because it is a boneless design with no separate footstool. Skip the LINSY if you want a green that reads deep, because the listing says olive green and it is heavy at 38.5 lb. Skip the Welnow for this search, because its color is gray.

Buying criteria for a hunter green chair with an ottoman

1. Confirm the shade. Listings say dark green, green or olive green. Only the Glitzhome says hunter green. Compare photos under the lighting you plan to use.
2. Included items. Confirm the footstool is part of the order. The Glitzhome is an ottoman only.
3. Fabric and cover. Velvet looks richer and shows wear more; cotton is softer and may need a removable cover to clean. Check whether the cover is removable.
4. Weight limits. The chair ratings are 300 to 400 lb where listed. The Glitzhome ottoman is rated at 220 lb.
