1. CECER Queen Horizontal Murphy Bed with Storage Shelf-White — Middle listed footprint
Listed details: dimensions 64.9″ L × 80.7″ W × 64.96″ H; item weight 800 pounds; material Wood; color White.
The CECER is a queen horizontal Murphy bed in white wood with a storage shelf. The listing gives 64.9 in L by 80.7 in W by 64.96 in H, with no note on whether that is closed or open. The item weight is listed at 800 pounds, far above the other two, and a bullet says the MDF construction supports up to 1000 pounds. The bullets describe built-in storage compartments, assembly in hours without professional tools, and delivery in three packages. They do not describe the lift mechanism, wall anchoring or whether a mattress is included, and they do not mention a desk.
Pros
- Highest stated load at 1000 pounds, from a bullet on MDF construction
- Built-in storage compartments are listed for books, bedding and daily items
- Ships in three packages with all parts included, and support is said to respond within 24 hours
Cons
- Item weight is 800 pounds, 500 more than the 300 pound LUMISOL Full (800 − 300), so confirm it before planning delivery
- The visible bullets do not describe the lift mechanism, wall fixing or mattress
- Three separate packages means waiting for all of them before you can assemble
Who it is for / who should skip it: For a guest room that needs a queen bed and built-in storage and has space for a heavy build. Skip it if you need a desk or a stated mattress.
2. LUMISOL Full Size Horizontal Murphy Bed with Storage Bookcase, Wood Hidden Bed Frame with Desk for Small Spaces Studio Study Office Guest Room, White — Largest listed footprint
Listed details: dimensions 110.3″ L × 79.8″ W × 82″ H; item weight 300 pounds; listed maximum weight 600 pounds; material MDF, Pine Wood; color White.
The LUMISOL Full is a horizontal Murphy bed with a panel that works as a desk as well as a storage shelf, plus open shelves on the side. It is listed at 110.3 in L by 79.8 in W by 82 in H, and the listing does not say whether the 110.3 in is the open or closed measurement. The item weighs 300 pounds with a stated maximum of 600 pounds, and the materials are MDF and pine. The bullets say the bed folds into a cabinet using a handle and support legs that flip onto the floor. Its footprint is 61.12 sq ft as listed (110.3 × 79.8 = 8,802 sq in, divided by 144).
Pros
- Desk panel doubles as a bed panel, so it covers sleeping and work in one unit
- Stated maximum of 600 pounds against a 300 pound item weight
- Folds away using a handle and flip-down support legs, per the bullets
Cons
- Full size only, so it sleeps less than the Queen options
- Listed footprint is 61.12 sq ft, but the listing does not say if 110.3 in is the open or closed size
- Whether a mattress or the slats are included is not stated in the visible text
Who it is for / who should skip it: Fits a studio or office that needs a full bed that doubles as a desk. Skip it if you need a queen or a confirmed closed depth.
3. LUMISOL Queen Murphy Bed with Desk and Storage Shelves,Wood Hideaway Murphy Platform Bed with Bookshelf for Adults, Multifunctional Wall Bed for Small Space,Bedroom,Guest Room, White — Smallest listed footprint
Listed details: dimensions 92.4″ L × 13.6″ W × 86.8″ H; item weight 249 pounds; listed maximum weight 600 pounds; material Wood; color White.
The LUMISOL Queen adds a desk and side storage shelves to a solid pine and MDF build. The listing gives 92.4 in L by 13.6 in W by 86.8 in H, and 13.6 in cannot be the width of a queen bed, so the axes here are not the whole bed. That makes the 8.73 sq ft footprint unreliable, and it should not be compared with the others. The item weight is 249 pounds and the maximum is 600 pounds. The bullets say it folds into a cabinet with handles and a support leg, mention slats, and give labeled parts and step-by-step instructions for assembly.
Pros
- Queen size with a desk mode and side shelves
- Solid pine and MDF, with slats mentioned in the bullets
- Labeled parts and step-by-step instructions for assembly
Cons
- The 13.6 in width cannot describe a queen bed, so the listed dimensions need checking
- Footprint of 8.73 sq ft is not reliable and is not compared here
- The visible text does not say whether a mattress is included
Who it is for / who should skip it: For a bedroom or office that needs a queen and a desk in one cabinet. Skip it until you have checked the real closed and open dimensions.
What to check before buying wall bed with shelves
Verify the dimensions first. The measurements in these three listings do not line up well. The CECER gives 64.9 × 80.7 × 64.96 in, the LUMISOL Full 110.3 × 79.8 × 82 in, and the LUMISOL Queen 92.4 × 13.6 × 86.8 in. A queen bed is not 13.6 in wide, so that last figure is likely a cabinet depth or a typo. None says whether it describes the bed open or closed. Do not rank these by footprint; check the closed depth and the open floor space on the current listing.
Size of bed. The titles say Queen (CECER, LUMISOL Queen) and Full (LUMISOL Full). Check that the room has space for the open footprint and any walkway.
Weight and delivery. Listed weights are 800, 300 and 249 pounds, so the CECER is 500 pounds heavier than the next (800 − 300). It ships in three packages. These are heavy cabinets that need two people and a clear route; the visible text does not give package sizes.
Load limit. The CECER bullet says up to 1000 pounds; the two LUMISOL beds list 600 pounds. Check what the limit includes before you rely on it.
Desk or storage. Both LUMISOL beds list a desk mode and side shelves. The CECER lists storage compartments and no desk. If you work in the room, that is the main split.
What is not stated. None of the visible bullets states a mattress, a lift mechanism type, or wall anchoring. Confirm how the bed is fixed to the wall on the current listing before you buy.
Decision rules: a queen guest bed with storage points to the CECER; a full bed with desk to the LUMISOL Full; a queen with desk to the LUMISOL Queen, once dimensions are checked.
Worked example: fit math for these three options
This worked example is our own planning arithmetic from the listed dimensions, not test results. The wall length and walkway width are assumed example values; replace them with your measurements.
Wall example. Assume 96 inches of clear wall.
- CECER Queen Horizontal Murphy Bed: 96 − 80.7 = 15.3 inches spare; centred, 7.65 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.
- LUMISOL Full Size Horizontal Murphy Bed: 96 − 79.8 = 16.2 inches spare; centred, 8.1 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.
- LUMISOL Queen Murphy Bed with Desk: 96 − 13.6 = 82.4 inches spare; centred, 41.2 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.
Walkway example. The US Access Board gives 36 inches as the minimum clear width for an accessible route. That figure is a yardstick, not a rule for private homes. To keep 36 inches clear beside each product, the walkway between it and the opposite obstacle must be at least 36 inches plus its depth:
- CECER Queen Horizontal Murphy Bed: 36 + 64.9 = 100.9 inches of total path width.
- LUMISOL Full Size Horizontal Murphy Bed: 36 + 110.3 = 146.3 inches of total path width.
- LUMISOL Queen Murphy Bed with Desk: 36 + 92.4 = 128.4 inches of total path width.
Footprint. Depth × width, converted at 144 square inches per square foot:
- CECER Queen Horizontal Murphy Bed: 64.9 × 80.7 = 5237.43 sq in, or 36.37 sq ft.
- LUMISOL Full Size Horizontal Murphy Bed: 110.3 × 79.8 = 8801.94 sq in, or 61.12 sq ft.
- LUMISOL Queen Murphy Bed with Desk: 92.4 × 13.6 = 1256.64 sq in, or 8.73 sq ft.
Mistakes to avoid
- Trusting the listed dimensions. The LUMISOL Queen lists 13.6 in as a width, which cannot be a queen bed. Verify the closed and open sizes.
- Forgetting the open footprint. The listings give one set of numbers. Measure the floor the bed needs when it is open.
- Ignoring delivery weight. The CECER lists 800 pounds and ships in three packages. Plan the route and the help you need.
- Assuming a mattress is included. None of the visible bullets says so. Check the listing before you order.

Frequently asked questions
What sizes do these wall beds come in?
The titles say the CECER and one LUMISOL are Queen, and the other LUMISOL is Full. The listed dimensions are inconsistent across the three, and the LUMISOL Queen shows 13.6 in as a width, so confirm the closed and open sizes before measuring your room.
Do wall beds with shelves also work as desks?
The two LUMISOL listings say the panel doubles as a desk and a storage shelf, with open shelves at the side. The CECER lists storage compartments and a shelf but no desk. Check the current listing for the desk surface size.
How heavy are they?
The CECER is listed at 800 pounds, the LUMISOL Full at 300 pounds and the LUMISOL Queen at 249 pounds. The two LUMISOL beds list a 600 pound maximum and the CECER says up to 1000 pounds. Plan help for delivery.
Is a mattress included?
The visible listing text does not say for any of the three. The LUMISOL Queen mentions slats, but not a mattress. Check the current listing, and assume you need to buy a mattress in the listed size unless the page says otherwise.
