The Gericco is the largest by listed footprint among these three, at 12.34 sq ft, with dimensions of 46.06″ D × 38.58″ W × 29.53″ H. Its corduroy cover is filled with shredded foam, and the listing describes armrests and a cocoon-like feel. The product is presented for bedrooms, dorms, living rooms, and gaming spaces. The listing does not state assembly requirements or an interior size.

Pros

• Largest listed footprint of the three at 12.34 sq ft.
• Listing states a 400-pound maximum weight recommendation.
• Corduroy cover and armrests are listed.

Cons

• Largest listed footprint may be difficult to place in a tight room.
• Seat depth is listed as 15.36 inches, shallower than the third chair’s 19.7 inches.
• Listing does not state assembly requirements or interior size.

Who it is for / who should skip it: Pick it if you want the largest listed footprint and value the stated weight recommendation. Skip it if floor space is very limited or you need a deeper seat.

2. WSOFRLAC Giant Plush Bean Bag Chairs, Cozy Fluffy Single Cloud Couch, White — Smallest listed footprint

Listed details: dimensions 38″ D × 40″ W × 29″ H; material Polyester; color White.

The WSOFRLAC is labeled as having the smallest listed footprint, at 10.56 sq ft. Its product dimensions are given as 38″ D × 40″ W × 29″ H, while the bullet text describes the chair as 40″ × 38″ × 28″ and also mentions an ottoman measuring 20″ × 12″. Verify the chair dimensions and what is included before choosing it. The listing describes a white bean bag chair with polyester material, bunny velvet, and high-resilience foam. Seat depth is listed as 38 inches. It does not state a maximum weight recommendation, item weight, or assembly requirements.

Pros

• Smallest listed footprint of the three at 10.56 sq ft.
• Listing describes a high-resilience foam fill and bunny velvet surface.
• Bullet text mentions an ottoman.

Cons

• Chair dimensions differ between the product details and bullet text; verify them before purchase.
• Maximum weight recommendation and item weight are not stated.
• Listing uses both polyester and bunny velvet descriptions for the material.

Who it is for / who should skip it: Consider it if the smallest listed footprint and a white, soft-surface chair appeal to you, and you can confirm the dimensions and ottoman details. Skip it if you need a stated weight limit or consistent measurements.

3. Large Comfy Plush Bean Bag Chair for Adults with Armrests and Back(Grey) — Middle listed footprint

Listed details: dimensions 39.3″ D × 41.29″ W × 30.7″ H; item weight 37.5 pounds; listed maximum weight 350 pounds; material Plush Faux Fur; color Darkgrey.

The listing describes armrests, a back, elastic foam filling, and a plush faux-fur surface. It gives an item weight of 37.5 pounds and a maximum weight recommendation of 350 pounds. The description presents it as a chair for home, dorm, or game-room use. Assembly requirements and interior size are not stated.

Pros

• Listing states a 350-pound maximum weight recommendation.
• Seat depth is listed as 19.7 inches, deeper than the Gericco’s 15.36 inches.

Cons

• The plush faux-fur material may not suit buyers who prefer a smoother cover.
• Its 350-pound maximum weight recommendation is lower than the Gericco’s 400 pounds.

Who it is for / who should skip it: Pick it if you want a deeper listed seat and a stated weight recommendation without choosing the largest footprint. Skip it if faux fur is not your preferred surface.

What to check before buying large plush chair

Start with the footprint and room layout. These listings range from 10.56 sq ft for the WSOFRLAC to 12.34 sq ft for the Gericco, with the third chair at 11.27 sq ft. Treat these as listed footprints, not a guarantee of usable clearance: leave room to get in and out, and check dimensions against the exact spot where the chair will sit. The WSOFRLAC’s product dimensions differ from the dimensions in its bullet text, so verify the measurements before relying on its smallest-footprint label.

Next, compare seat depth and the shape you want. The listed depths are 15.36 inches for the Gericco, 38 inches for the WSOFRLAC, and 19.7 inches for the third chair. That large difference makes it important to check how each listing defines or measures seat depth; do not assume the WSOFRLAC’s figure is directly comparable. If you want a deeper listed seat than the Gericco provides, the third chair is a clearer alternative in the supplied specs.

Check weight information if it matters for your household. The Gericco lists a 400-pound maximum recommendation and the third chair lists 350 pounds. The WSOFRLAC does not state a maximum. Do not infer a limit from its size or foam description.

Finally, choose by surface and included pieces. The Gericco lists corduroy, the WSOFRLAC lists polyester and describes bunny velvet, and the third lists plush faux fur. The WSOFRLAC bullet text mentions an ottoman, but confirm whether it is included. For a stated weight recommendation and the largest footprint, consider the Gericco; for the smallest listed footprint, verify the WSOFRLAC first; for a deeper stated seat and mid-range footprint, consider the third chair.

Worked example: fit math for these three options

This worked example is our own planning arithmetic from the listed dimensions, not test results. The wall length and walkway width are assumed example values; replace them with your measurements.

Wall example. Assume 60 inches of clear wall.

• Gericco Giant Plush Bean Bag Chair: 60 − 38.58 = 21.42 inches spare; centred, 10.71 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.
• WSOFRLAC Giant Plush Bean Bag Chairs: 60 − 40 = 20 inches spare; centred, 10 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.
• Large Comfy Plush Bean Bag Chair: 60 − 41.29 = 18.71 inches spare; centred, 9.36 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.

Walkway example. The US Access Board gives 36 inches as the minimum clear width for an accessible route. That figure is a yardstick, not a rule for private homes. To keep 36 inches clear beside each product, the walkway between it and the opposite obstacle must be at least 36 inches plus its depth:

• Gericco Giant Plush Bean Bag Chair: 36 + 46.06 = 82.06 inches of total path width.
• WSOFRLAC Giant Plush Bean Bag Chairs: 36 + 38 = 74 inches of total path width.
• Large Comfy Plush Bean Bag Chair: 36 + 39.3 = 75.3 inches of total path width.

Footprint. Depth × width, converted at 144 square inches per square foot:

• Gericco Giant Plush Bean Bag Chair: 46.06 × 38.58 = 1776.99 sq in, or 12.34 sq ft.
• WSOFRLAC Giant Plush Bean Bag Chairs: 38 × 40 = 1520 sq in, or 10.56 sq ft.
• Large Comfy Plush Bean Bag Chair: 39.3 × 41.29 = 1622.7 sq in, or 11.27 sq ft.

Mistakes to avoid

• Ignoring conflicting measurements. The WSOFRLAC product details and bullet text give different chair dimensions. Confirm the measurements before planning its position.
• Treating seat depth as directly comparable. The WSOFRLAC lists a 38-inch seat depth, far above the other figures. Check how the seller measures it rather than assuming all listings use the same method.
• Assuming every chair has a stated limit. The WSOFRLAC does not list a maximum weight recommendation. If that information is important, its listing leaves a key question unanswered.
• Assuming the ottoman is included. The WSOFRLAC bullet text mentions an ottoman and gives its dimensions, but confirm what is included with the chair before buying.

Frequently asked questions

Which chair has the smallest listed footprint?

The WSOFRLAC has the smallest listed footprint at 10.56 sq ft, compared with 11.27 sq ft for the third chair and 12.34 sq ft for the Gericco. However, its product dimensions differ from the dimensions in its bullet text. Verify the chair measurements before choosing it based on space.

Which chair has the highest stated weight recommendation?

The Gericco lists a maximum weight recommendation of 400 pounds. The third chair lists 350 pounds, and the WSOFRLAC listing does not state a maximum weight recommendation. These are listing claims, not independent assessments.

Which chair has the deepest seat?

The WSOFRLAC lists a seat depth of 38 inches, compared with 19.7 inches for the third chair and 15.36 inches for the Gericco. Because the WSOFRLAC figure is much larger, check how the seller defines seat depth before comparing it directly with the other listings.

Does the WSOFRLAC include an ottoman?

Its bullet text mentions an ottoman measuring 20″ × 12″, but the supplied product information does not clearly confirm whether it is included in the purchase. Check the current listing’s package details before relying on it as part of the set.
