What to check before buying black vanity seat

Start with the floor area and the seat-height range. LUE BONA is 12.8 by 12.8 inches at 1.14 sq ft. BFTOU is 13 by 13 inches at 1.17 sq ft, while Saddle Seat Vanity Stool is 11.61 by 15.74 inches at 1.27 sq ft. Saddle Seat Vanity Stool is listed at 18.3 inches, so choose it only if that fixed height works.

Next, choose the cushion form. LUE BONA has faux leather, high-elastic sponge, and button tufting. Saddle Seat Vanity Stool uses a black faux-leather saddle cushion with a U-shaped foam surface. BFTOU has a 4.9-inch-thick PU-leather cushion and a round 13-inch diameter. All three listings name Black, although Saddle Seat Vanity Stool lists its color as Black & Black.

Published capacity needs a careful read. BFTOU gives two figures: 110 kg in specs and 250 lbs in a bullet. Confirm BFTOU’s current figure rather than using it to rank capacity. Item weights are 8.5 pounds for LUE BONA, 4 kg for Saddle Seat Vanity Stool, and 3.6 kg for BFTOU.

Finally, consider movement and setup. LUE BONA and BFTOU both state 360-degree swivel. BFTOU specifically has no wheels. LUE BONA includes hardware and instructions; Saddle Seat Vanity Stool includes a tool and installation instructions. Pick LUE BONA for the smallest footprint, Saddle Seat Vanity Stool for its saddle form, or BFTOU for its 4.9-inch cushion and 17.9-23.4-inch range. The listed style names are Elegant for LUE BONA and Modern for the other 2. Treat those as product labels rather than proof that the three cushions share the same form.

Worked example: fit math for these three options

This worked example is our own planning arithmetic from the listed dimensions, not test results. The wall length and walkway width are assumed example values; replace them with your measurements.

Wall example. Assume 36 inches of clear wall.

• LUE BONA Adjustable Vanity Stool 15.8″-20.7″: 36 − 12.8 = 23.2 inches spare; centred, 11.6 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.
• Saddle Seat Vanity Stool: 36 − 15.74 = 20.26 inches spare; centred, 10.13 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.
• BFTOU Black 4.9-inch Thickened Vanity Stool: 36 − 13 = 23 inches spare; centred, 11.5 inches on each side before trim, plugs or curtains.

Walkway example. The US Access Board gives 36 inches as the minimum clear width for an accessible route. That figure is a yardstick, not a rule for private homes. To keep 36 inches clear beside each product, the walkway between it and the opposite obstacle must be at least 36 inches plus its depth:

• LUE BONA Adjustable Vanity Stool 15.8″-20.7″: 36 + 12.8 = 48.8 inches of total path width.
• Saddle Seat Vanity Stool: 36 + 11.61 = 47.61 inches of total path width.
• BFTOU Black 4.9-inch Thickened Vanity Stool: 36 + 13 = 49 inches of total path width.

Footprint. Depth × width, converted at 144 square inches per square foot:

• LUE BONA Adjustable Vanity Stool 15.8″-20.7″: 12.8 × 12.8 = 163.84 sq in, or 1.14 sq ft.
• Saddle Seat Vanity Stool: 11.61 × 15.74 = 182.74 sq in, or 1.27 sq ft.
• BFTOU Black 4.9-inch Thickened Vanity Stool: 13 × 13 = 169 sq in, or 1.17 sq ft.

Mistakes to avoid

• Treating every Black seat as the same shape. LUE BONA is button tufted, Saddle Seat Vanity Stool has a U-shaped saddle cushion, and BFTOU has a 4.9-inch round cushion.
• Ignoring the adjustment span. LUE BONA runs from 15.8 to 20.7 inches and BFTOU from 17.9 to 23.4 inches. Saddle Seat Vanity Stool is listed at 18.3 inches.
• Using BFTOU’s capacity without checking. Specs state 110 kg, while a bullet states 250 lbs. Verify the listing before relying on either figure.
• Forgetting the installation note. LUE BONA and Saddle Seat Vanity Stool include assembly materials. BFTOU’s supplied data does not state an assembly instruction.
