• Cons: The spec field says wood, but one bullet calls it bamboo, so check the material. The listing gives no load figure.

Decision criteria

1. Tabletop or floor? A desk unit fits a surface. A floor unit needs floor space and a stable wall. The listing types differ across this group.
2. Depth against your desk. Check the depth figure, not the width. The Duimbok at 19.69 inches needs a deep desk.
3. Load. Only the ELITEROO and NNIANXING give a figure in their specs. For hardcovers, that matters.
4. Material. Acrylic, metal and wood age and clean differently. Confirm the material where a listing contradicts itself.

Worked example: a 24 in deep desk and a stack of books

• Load. NNIANXING lists 30 lb, which is 15 hardcovers (30 divided by 2) or 60 paperbacks (30 divided by 0.5). ELITEROO lists 10 lb, which is 5 hardcovers.
• Desk depth. On a 24 in desk the Duimbok takes 19.69 in of depth, leaving 4.31 in (24 minus 19.69), which is not enough for a keyboard. The Omlishy takes 7.87 in, the Acshio about 6.3 to 10.3 in, and ELITEROO 9.5 in.
• Height. Omlishy is 15.7 in tall and can block a low monitor. NNIANXING is 9 in tall, so it keeps a clear line of sight.
• Tilt. No listing gives an angle, so the tilt is a description, not a spec.

Who should skip a slanted bookshelf

If you only have a few books, a flat shelf may be enough. If you want a tilt you can adjust, most listings here are fixed; none is described as adjustable. If the tilt angle is critical, ask the seller for it before buying.
