What a nine-drawer dresser is
It is a wide, low unit of fabric drawers on a metal frame with a wood top, often 54 to 63 inches long and 26 to 28 inches high. The listings call them dressers, media consoles and TV stands. They hold light clothing and, as the sellers say, a TV on top. They are not the heavy wood chests of drawers in our dresser and 6 drawer dresser guides.

This is our own arithmetic. A TV’s width is its diagonal times 16 divided by the square root of 337 (16 squared plus 9 squared), which is 0.8716. We assume 16 to 9 screens.

The last column is the diagonal whose width equals the stand’s width: 54.02 divided by 0.8716 is 62.0, and 62.99 divided by 0.8716 is 72.3.
Tip-over safety
The Anchor It campaign’s resources page says that as of September 1, 2023, dressers, armoires and other clothing storage furniture must meet stability standards and include anchor kits. A TV on top makes any unit less stable and adds a second tip-over risk. None of the three listings mentions an anchor kit or the standard in the text we read, so ask the seller, and anchor the unit and the TV to the wall.

Measure the wall. 54 to 63 inches of length.
Ask for the top load. None of the listings states one.

Delivery, assembly and drawers
A fabric dresser is lighter than a wood one, and the WLIVE listings describe detachable fabric drawers, which makes them easier to carry in. They still need assembly: a steel frame with cross support rods, a top and nine drawers. None of the three listings gives an assembly time or a weight in the text we read, so ask for the carton weight. The Huuger listing says the unit is very light and easy to move, which is a reason to anchor it, since a light unit moves when a drawer is yanked open.
A separate TV stand instead
If the main use is a TV, a purpose-made TV stand may be a better choice, with a stated weight limit for the top. A dresser’s fabric drawers are made for clothes, and a TV adds weight and a second tip-over risk. If you do use a dresser as a TV stand, anchor both the unit and the TV, keep the TV’s weight within the top’s stated rating and leave the cables out of the reach of children.
Mistakes to avoid
Trusting “fits a 65 inch TV”. Compare the TV’s width to the stand’s.
Loading the drawers with heavy items. Fabric drawers are for light things.
Skipping the anchor. Wide and low is stable until drawers are open.
Counting 10 as 9. The Huuger has 10 drawers.
