Mistakes to avoid

• Trusting one width. VASAGLE gives 23.6 in in the title and specs but 39.4 in in the bullets. That 15.8 in gap (39.4 minus 23.6) decides whether it fits a small wall, so ask the seller.
• Forgetting the lid. AQIMUELE’s flip-top needs clearance above the bench to open, so a shelf mounted just over it can block the lid.
• Assuming a bench seats two. None of these is wider than 31.5 in, and our estimate of 20 in per adult says that is one adult with room, not two.

Who should skip a small entryway bench
