The wheels, the height range and the seat size are the numbers that matter most for a rolling vanity stool. A rolling stool has one job that a regular vanity stool does not: it has to move with you. You roll it to the mirror, to a storage cart and back, and sometimes to a second station. Cushion style and color come second.

This guide covers four rolling stools from our research set, checked on 8 October 2026.Where a listing does not state a value, we say so.
If you want the widest stated height range, compare the FURWOO (B0B6VM4NT2) and the BFTOU (B0CB81YBLK). The FURWOO spans 17.7 to 24 in, the widest span in this set at 6.3 in. The BFTOU goes highest, to 25.4 in, but its range starts at 19.3 in. If you want hidden storage, the Gitrah (B0DKFYZW6S) is the only listing that describes it.
You may not need wheels at all. If you will not move the stool between stations, a fixed vanity stool with a stated seat height will do the job, and the wheel and caster numbers here will not matter to you.
Our decision criteria
For this keyword we judge on four points: whether the height range is stated clearly, whether the wheels are described (count, type, floor suitability), whether the weight limit is consistent between the specifications and the bullets, and whether the seat is a size you can tuck under your table.
Comparison table
| Model (ASIN) | Size as listed | Seat height as listed | Height range as listed | Weight limit as listed | Wheels | Seat material | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gitrah Vanity Chair with Wheels (B0DKFYZW6S) | 13.4 D x 13.4 W x 18 H in | 18 in (specification) | 18.8 to 23 in (bullet) | 350 lb (specification) | Wheels; count not stated | Faux leather | View on Amazon |
| Timbertouch Rolling Stool (B0F24C78P9) | 13 D x 15 W x 13.4 H in | Not stated | Not stated | 350 lb (specification) | Five casters (bullet) | Polyurethane (PU leather) | View on Amazon |
| FURWOO Rectangle Rolling Stool (B0B6VM4NT2) | 13.4 D x 14.6 W x 17.7 H in | 17.7 in (specification) | 17.7 to 24 in (bullet; 45 to 61 cm) | 297.6 lb (specification), 300 lb (bullet) | Wheels; count not stated | Faux leather | View on Amazon |
| BFTOU Black Rolling Stool (B0CB81YBLK) | 13.8 D x 13.8 W x 25.4 H in | 25 in (specification) | 19.3 to 25.4 in (bullet) | 135 kg (specification, about 297.6 lb), 300 lb (bullet) | Five wheels (bullet) | Faux leather |
Conversion checks: 135 kg is about 297.6 lb, which matches the 300 lb bullet closely enough to be the same figure rounded. The FURWOO range of 45 to 61 cm is 17.7 to 24 in. The spans are 4.2 in for the Gitrah (18.8 to 23 in), 6.1 in for the BFTOU (19.3 to 25.4 in) and 6.3 in for the FURWOO (17.7 to 24 in).
Product notes: pros and cons
Gitrah Vanity Chair with Wheels (B0DKFYZW6S).
- Pros: A round 13.4 in base with a stated 350 lb limit. The listing describes a 5.5 in thick cushion and a hidden storage space of 9.6 L, which suits cosmetics or tools. The bullets say assembly takes about five minutes with no extra tools.
- Cons: The specification gives an 18 in seat height, but a bullet gives a minimum of 18.8 in. The color field reads “13.4 in White”, which is a size, not a color. At 13.2 lb it is the heaviest stool here that states a weight.
Timbertouch Rolling Stool (B0F24C78P9).
- Pros: A 14.4 in wide padded seat (bullet), five casters that the bullets describe as quiet, and a 350 lb limit in the specification. The bullets name salon, spa, massage and medical use.
- Cons: No seat height or height range is stated, so you cannot compare it with your table. The specification gives the item weight as 4 milligrams, which cannot be right, so the weight is unverified. Assembly is required, with no time given.
FURWOO Rectangle Rolling Stool (B0B6VM4NT2).
- Pros: The widest stated span in this set (17.7 to 24 in), a 360-degree swivel, and a rectangular seat 14.6 in wide and 3.1 in thick according to the bullets. The bullets say it is waterproof and that one person can assemble it in about 10 minutes.
- Cons: The product dimensions (13.4 in deep) and the item dimensions (14.57 x 11.22 x 24.02 in) do not agree. The weight limit is 297.6 lb in the specification and 300 lb in a bullet. The number of casters is not stated.
BFTOU Black Rolling Stool (B0CB81YBLK).
- Pros: The tallest seat here at 25.4 in, with a height range of 19.3 to 25.4 in in the bullets. Five wheels and a 360-degree swivel are described, and the seat is 15 in wide. The base is 17.7 in in diameter.
- Cons: The product dimensions read 13.8 in square, but the item dimensions read 12.2 x 15.35 x 25.39 in, which does not match. The bullets say the base needs “an extra 2 minutes” to assemble, with no total given. Its lowest height (19.3 in) may be too tall for a low table.
Who should skip these
- Anyone who wants a backrest. None of these states one.
- Anyone who will roll the stool on carpet and needs a carpet rating. The listings describe floors in general terms and give no carpet rating.
- Anyone who needs a known seat height. The Timbertouch gives none, and the Gitrah and FURWOO minimums differ between the specification and the bullets.
How to check the fit
If the stool should slide fully under the table, the lowest stated height should sit below that gap, with room for the cushion. The lowest stated figures are 17.7 in (FURWOO) and 18 in (Gitrah specification, 18.8 in bullet minimum). This is our own planning check, not a standard. Measure your own table.
Check the footprint too. The seats here measure between about 13 and 15 in across, so compare that with the space between your table legs before you buy.
Buying criteria
- Height range, stated in the specification and the bullets. Use the wider one only if both agree.
- Wheel count. Only the Timbertouch and BFTOU listings give a number, and both give five.
- Weight limit stated the same way in each place.
- Footprint against your table legs.
- Storage, if you want a place to keep small items.
- Assembly time and whether tools are included.
Worked example: height range against a 30 in table
Say the table you sit at is 30 in high.
- Gitrah (18.8 to 23 in): the gap is 30 − 23 = 7 in at the top and 30 − 18.8 = 11.2 in at the bottom.
- FURWOO (17.7 to 24 in): 30 − 24 = 6 in at the top and 30 − 17.7 = 12.3 in at the bottom.
- BFTOU (19.3 to 25.4 in): 30 − 25.4 = 4.6 in at the top and 30 − 19.3 = 10.7 in at the bottom.
Metric figures need converting. The FURWOO range is given as 45 to 61 cm, which is 17.7 to 24.0 in (divide by 2.54). The BFTOU lists 135 kg, or about 297.6 lb (135 × 2.2046), which matches its 300 lb bullet. The Timbertouch gives no seat height at all, so you cannot work out a gap for it.
What the comparison does not cover
Only the Timbertouch and BFTOU bullets give a caster count (five). The table above does not say whether any of the casters lock, what they are made of, or how to clean the seat. If you will roll the stool on a hard floor, ask the seller about caster material. If you will use it on carpet, ask whether the casters roll freely on a pile surface. Neither answer is in the data we compared.
Frequently asked questions
Are rolling vanity stools the same as salon stools?
Many listings are sold for both. The Timbertouch and BFTOU listings name salon, spa and massage use. The listings do not describe a difference in build, so compare the numbers rather than the label.
Which one has the widest height range?
The FURWOO listing states 17.7 to 24 in, a span of 6.3 in. The BFTOU bullet gives 19.3 to 25.4 in, a span of 6.1 in, and sits higher. Choose by where your table needs the seat to sit.
Do these stools have storage?
Only the Gitrah listing describes a hidden storage space, at 9.6 L. The other three do not mention storage.
Can I use these on carpet?
The listings do not give a carpet rating. Test one on your own floor before you rely on it, and check the caster description for the type of wheel.
