If your thighs are 18 inches from hip to the back of the knee, you now have a 2.5 inch shortfall, so the seat edge will push into the back of your knee. If your thighs are 15 inches, you have a half inch to spare. Measure before you order.

Memory foam is firmer in a cold room and softer when warm, which is a general property and not a figure from the listings. A pillow that was vacuum packed may need a day to expand, so do not judge it the minute you open it.
